News Letter: February 2010
The first of monthly allotment updates. Hope I got the bcc right and that not all addresses are showing.
1. The new Committee (names will be on website) had a` planning  meeting in January to map out action for this year. We developed a list of priorities  with costs, people and completion dates attached. In brief these were; Completion Due
a Replace water system and encourage water conservation. Nov 2011 for final completion
b Repair car park and adjacent road.  Nov 2010
c Buy new mower and develop safe storage. March 2010
d Improve pedestrian and cyclist safety at main gate. April 2010
e Repair boundaries incl. brick wall near Glebe Place. Nov 2010
f Develop Community events..Bring and Buy, Scarecrow/Sunflower/Flower/Ph competitions.etc  Planning at Feb meeting.
  g Develop website. . Ongoing
h Finish Committee guidance, 'Systems and Procedures'. Ongoing
  i  Improve site paths. Ongoing
This is only an outline. Do ask for more info. Offers of suggestions, interest, help, welcomed.
2. The next Committee meeting is on the first Sunday of Feb. If you have an issue you would want to be raised please contact me. It's planned to put details of agendas and summaries of discussion on the website soon. (in the interim, by e mail.)
3. Just to remind you that applications for all structures (ie sheds, greenhouses) are now considered by the Committee. applications by e mail ar welcomed.

If you can pass info on it would help. At present we have 71 e mail contacts but there are some addresses we don't have. It would be good to aim at having at least half our members in contact this way.

That's all. Happy-soon to come-gardening.
