Mikron Returns to St Mary’s on August 7th

Mikron celebrates the struggle for votes for women

Revolting Women tells the Suffrage story through the eyes of a less well-known Pankhurst, Sylvia, who fought for the vote alongside working women in the East End. Sylvia meets Lettie and together they push to Parliament, to bend the ear of the Cabinet.

It’s a story of absolute commitment or dangerous obsession? Full of political satire, song and more suffrage societies than you can shake a stick at,

Revolting Women unravels a contentious and momentous movement in history!

So do come along for an entertaining evening and bring your friends and family to share in the fun. We plan to start the evening at 6pm with some music and refreshments with a BBQ on offer during the evening.  You might want to bring a folding chair if you can.

There are no tickets to purchase but a collection is made at the end of the evening and everything goes to the Mikron Theatre

On the same evening, at 6pm before the show starts,  we will also be awarding our annual prizes for:

  • Best Gardener,
  • Best New Gardener,
